On a prime site, walking distance to the beach, this tired, two-bed, adjoining flat gets a noteworthy makeover.

Stripped back to the original foundations, the then 90 sqm unit had an additional 35 sqm added, to allow a spacious, light-filled sanctuary to emerge.

Features include a re-clad in cedar and clay brick, with travertine bathrooms with a mix of stainless steel and stone kitchen bench tops. The sunlit, wrap-around deckings are perfect for basking in all-day sun, and the single garage was re-pitched and repurposed as a guest wing. Internal walls were removed to create a generous open-plan living space, and a large stacker window was adopted in the kitchen to act as an outdoor breakfast bar. All resulting in an enviable transformation and proving that anything is achievable with the right team on hand.
